F. Graziano – R. Meynet, Studi del sesto convegno RBS. International Studies on Biblical and Semitic Rhetoric, RBSem 18, Peeters, Leuven 2019 (364 p.)
In odd-numbered years, the “International Association for the Study of Biblical Rhetoric and Semitic” organizes a conference at the Pontifical Gregorian University (Rome). It is an opportunity for scholars and researchers specialized in this specific field of study to present the results of their research and compare them with others. Also participating are students, especially doctoral students, especially from the Department of Biblical Theology of the Faculty of Theology at our University.
The largest part is devoted to the analysis of texts, especially of the Bible – Old and New Testament – but also of other Semitic texts, such as the Koran, and more generally of texts influenced by Semitic biblical literature, such as the Rule of St. Benedict. Finally, there is no lack of methodological reflections, to deepen some aspects of our exegetical methodology.
